We loved the Eddy's tour of the Dunedin countryside and all the historical and cultural information and legends he provided along the way. He obviously loves his country and wants his guests to have the best experience possible. He took us to a nature preserve where we strolled past a yellow-eyed penguin standing in a field, spied more under the bushes, viewed dozens of seals and birds, and enjoyed an area with few other people there. We stopped many times for beautiful views and Eddy tried to show us places where the big buses can't go.We had tasty fish & chips on a beach, and inspected the intriguing boulders tossed like huge marbles on the beach. He took great pleasure in hosting us and making a memorable day. He included a short city tour at the end.

We had a great excursion with D-Tours in Dunedin with Eddie as our tour guide and owner of the company. We arrived on the Sun Princess in November and he was waiting for us with a sign. We waited for one other couple then off we were on our day tour of the Northern coast of Dunedin and the Moeraki Boulders.
We had great weather and got some great pictures. Eddie showed us alot of places the normal ship's tours could not stop. After a very enjoyablel day we ended our day's tour with the highlights of the city which included the Botanical gardens with the beautiful flowers and Baldwin Street (the steepest street in the world) the world famous train station and beautiful coast line pictures. I would definitely recommend D-Tours as your tour company when visiting Dunedin. He returned us in plenty of time to meet our ship before it departed onto its next port of call.
Thanks Eddie for such a great tour and great memories.

We had an awesome tour today with Eddie. Pickup and drop off directly at the terminal at Port Chalmers. He took us to great lookouts for beautiful photos, showed us some of the native plants and shared great information about both the European and Maori history of Dunedin. Eddie also took us to the world’s steepest street, the Dunedin railway station & the Royal albatross centre where he provided binoculars so that we could watch the wildlife up close. He tailored the tour to exactly what we wanted to see. Fantastic day out for all ages. Great value. Highly recommended. Thanks for starting our onshore experience in New Zealand in such a beautiful way.
