Part of the tour takes us on the original 1862 Dunstan Trail stage coach route high into remote high country valleys, through creeks and the film site at Poolburn which was was transformed into a burning village . These special 4wd tours take you straight to the heart of 'Lord of the Rings' country! (summer only)
Two day tour
Stay overnight and host yourselves at the Old Moa Creek Hotel with double rooms, sauna and spa.(accomodation is fairly basic)
Relax and soak up the sun and high country sheep station atmosphere or visit the small working gold mine and see how gold is recovered. Mountain bikes can be taken with us by arrangement.Fishing and goldpanning are some of the activites availiable
