Otago Central Rail Trail

The Otago Central Rail Trail is one of the worlds greatest rail trails.It was constructed by the Department of Conservation after the closure of the Otago Central Railway line after the completion of the Clyde Dam.

What has been left behind is a breathtaking journey on foot, horse or bike from Middlemarch to Clyde on a graded surface. There are only gentle gradients or flat terrain to contend with - making this trip ideal for all ages.

Enjoy the rail trail with us, hire or bring your own bike. We will transport you there and meet you at the other end to bring you back to Dunedin.
